Hide date of birth on Facebook: Your birthdate is required information so you will not be able to
delete it.
You can set the visibility privacy to ‘Only Me’ so that you are the only one who can see it.

point at Birthdate item
then click on the audience preference icon that shows to the right, in the edit window that opens click
on the audience preference icon and set privacy to ‘Only Me’.
NOTE: there is a separate audience icon for birthdate (Month/Day) and for Year.
You may want to set the privacy for Month/Day to Friends so they will get a birthday notification.
