4. Choose “Snipping Tool from the popup.” Bear in mind that you’ll need to type Snipping Tool into the search tool and then choose the application when it appears.

5. Next, go to the popup and click New. This will prompt the screen of your computer to change to white. To take a screen of your item, press and drag the cursor over what you want to screenshot.

6. The area you’ve selected will now appear in the Snipping Tool. If you wish, you can highlight sections using your cursor.

7. Now, click File at the top right corner of the snipping tool and choose Save As from the dropdown menu.

8. Type the name of your file, in this case, your screenshot. Note that you may need to select PNG.

9. Next, choose a location on your storage device to save

It is important to note here that when you click on the start button, on Windows 7 and Windows 10, the search tool will appear at the bottom left of your screen. Whereas on Windows 8 and 8.1, the search tool will appear on the top right.
