5. How to create your personal account on NYSCJobs portal
The procedure for creating an account on the NYSCJobs portal is very simple and easy. With your smartphone or personal computer, you can get that done within some minutes. Just follow the simple but straight to the point steps give below to register or create your personal account on the NYSC Jobs portal now.

To register an account on the portal, do the following;
1. Log on to www.nyscjobs.org
2. Once that page displays, check the top right-hand corner and you shall see several options. Click on the option which says; graduates
3. Once you click on the graduate link, a drop-down shall show you two options; register and login. Click on register.
4. A contact form shall display. Fill it accordingly and click on the small box to agree to the terms of use of the site.
5. Finally, click on the submit button and guess what?

What?

You're done with the registration process. The next thing you must do is to check your email and click on the provided link to activate your account and confirm your email. Once you do that, you'll see a message like; your account has been activated successfully. You can now login.

6. HOW TO LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT ON NYSC JOBS PORTAL
If you've not created or register an account yet, you cannot log into the NYSC Jobs portal. Consider the guidelines given below to register your account now. Okay, to login your account, just like the registration, do the following;
1. Log on to www.nyscjobs.org
2. On the graduate on the top right-hand corner and then on login
3. Enter your email address and password
4. And click on the login button to log into your account

Note, in the case where you forgot your login password, you can always recover it by clicking on the forgot password link. When you click on the link just follow the instructions that follow to reset or recover your password.

7. HOW TO UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION ON NYSC JOBS PORTAL
When you've finally got your account registered, the next thing you're expected to do is to update your personal account. To update your personal account on the NYSC Jobs portal, log into your account by following the step by step guide we've outlined above.

Once you're logged in, a contact for shall display asking you to update your account. Fill the form accordingly and click on the update button and then click the next button to proceed with the steps given below;

Note: Always click on the arrow in a drop-down box to get more options for that particular field. 

1. Next, click on Additional Information. Fill in your details. Ensure that you upload your NYSC video CV URL. 

Please in mind that you can also use the buttons ‘Previous and ‘Next’ to navigate through the portal pages. 

2. Click on the Passport tab. Upload a passport that meets up to the size indicated at the top. 

3. Then, click on “Educational Qualification”. Click on “Add Qualification”. Proceed to fill the appropriate details. 

Note: Nigerian Institutions are listed while foreign Institutions are to be typed in. 

4. Next, click on the “Employment History” tab. Fill in your details and click the “Update” button. 

5. Then click on the “Certifications” tab. Click the “Add certification” and proceed to fill in the appropriate details. Do not forget to “Update” the information. 

6. Lastly, click on the “Documents” tab. On the Documents box, select the document to be uploaded. Select file and upload. Please ensure the documents meet up to the requirements stated at the top of the screen. 

7. Once all these are done, you have created a profile on NYSCJobs. You shall use this profile to apply for any vacancies available on the Portal. You can update your information at any time. 

8. HOW TO APPLY FOR JOBS ON NYSC JOBS PORTAL
When you've successfully updated your personal account, you can then start applying for jobs opportunities that are readily available. The step by step guide on how you can apply for the various jobs on the portal is as follows. Read it with keen attention. Here's how;

1. To apply for a vacancy, click on the “Vacancies” tab at the top of the screen. 



2. On the list of vacancies, click on the “View/Apply” link beside the vacancy you wish to apply for.

3. A short description of the vacancy is displayed. Click on the “Apply Now” button.

4. After applying, a notification is displayed on the screen: “Application Complete! Thank you for applying for this vacancy.

Upon review, only suitably qualified candidates would be contacted.” You will also receive an email confirmation in your email account.

5. You have successfully applied for a vacancy.

1. Get a friend/family to hold phone for you while you speak (NO SELFIE ALLOWED). HE/SHE MUST HOLD THE PHONE IN LANDSCAPE POSITION (NOT PORTRAIT ) i.e HOLD IT HORIZONTAL i.e TURN THE PHONE SIDEWAYS

5. When shooting your video, make sure nothing untidy or distracting shows in the background.

6. Make sure phone is steady, (shaky videos will be rejected). Make sure nobody appears in your video background.

7. You can sit or stand. CAPTURE FROM CHEST (WHERE THE NYSC CREST IS ON YOUR TSHIRT) UPTO YOUR HEAD. WAIST DOWN TO THE FEET SHOULD NOT APPEAR IN THE VIDEO. NYSC UNIFORM ONLY. CLEAN NYSC CRESTED VEST (compulsory), ironed jacket(optional). NO CAP! NO CAP! NO CAP! NO CAP!

8. LOOK YOUR VERY BEST. Trim your hair & beard (male) & tidy your hair & look (female). No neck-chain or big ear-rings allowed. Your hair & makeup should be FORMAL/OFFICIAL (moderation is the key).

9. Send one (1) video only. Keep shooting & deleting, till you’re satisfied with your video. Send only the best ONE

10. Corps members are allowed to shoot & send the videos in groups i.e 1 whatsapp number/phone can send multiple videos of different people, if they so which. But each video sent via whatsapp or email, must have its required details attached, so the NYSC videocv can be identified. ANY VIDEOCV WITHOUT DETAILS ATTACHED TO IT WILL BE DISCARDED.

12. VERY IMPORTANT: Alongside your video, send the following details:

To register your establishment on NYSCJobs, do the following;
1. Log on to www.nyscjobs.org
2. Click on the employer's button and then on the register.
3. Fill the contact form that displays accordingly and ensures you agree to the terms of use.
4. Finally, click on the register butter to register
To complete your registration process, go to your email to confirm and log into your account by clicking on the link sent to your email.

To login your account, click on the login button and enter your email address and password in the spaces provided and then click on the login button. Once you've logged in, you will need to update your personal information. Do that by filling the contact form accordingly.
