How to Turn on Code Generator for your Facebook account
To turn on a code generator for your account, do the following;
1. Log in to your Facebook account
2. Click on the account settings icon at the top right corner of any Facebook page
3. Click settings from the drop-down menu
4. Click on "security and login" at the left column of the new page that display
5. Scroll down to Use two-factor authentication and click Edit.
6. Go to Code Generator and click Setup.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Code Generator is only available from the Facebook app for Android and iOS.
To get your code on your mobile device:

2. Scroll down and tap Code Generator.
