How To Set Up Facebook App Password
Here is the step by step guide on how to get your Facebook app password straight up.
1. Log in to your Facebook account
2. Click 🔻 at the top right corner of any Facebook page
3. Click Settings from the drop-down menu
4. Next, click Security and Login
5. Scroll down the page to App Passwords and click Add at the far right
6. Click Generate app passwords and a dialog box will appear with this message: Two-factor authentication won’t always work when you try to access Apps that you log into using Facebook, such as:
– Xbox
– Spotify
– Skype
You can still securely log into these Apps by using an app password instead of your Facebook account password. You’ll only need to enter your app-specific password once.
7. Now, click Generate app password at the bottom right of the box
8. Enter your Facebook password in the box that appears to confirm that you’re the right person.
9. You’ll need to type the name of an App you want to approve and Facebook will automatically generate a password for it:

According to the Facebook help center, there are several two-factor authentication methods you can use with your Facebook account when logging in from an unrecognized computer or mobile device.
To get started with two-factor authentication, choose either:
– Text message (SMS) codes on your mobile phone.
– Login codes from a third party authentication app.
