How to Add a URL in the Facebook Group Information
Facebook groups do not function exactly like a personal profile or business page. Consequently, no labeled "Website" field exists where you can enter a link to another site.

The group administrator can still add a URL to your group, however, so members can be directed to another blog or a business website that relates to your group.

The URL will appear on the right side of the group for current members, and at the top of the group for potential members who have yet to be approved to see the full group page.

i. Log in to your Facebook account, or point your browser to the homepage if you are already on the site. The homepage is accessed by clicking on the Facebook logo located in the top left corner of every screen on the site.

ii. Click on the name of your group in the "Groups" section of the homepage sidebar, which runs vertically down the left side of the screen. If you do not see the correct group, hover your mouse over the "Groups" heading, and then click on the "More" link.

A comprehensive list of groups you administer and to which you belong will appear; click on the group name from that list.

iii. Click on the wheel icon in to the top right corner of the group page to expose a drop-down menu. Choose "Edit Group" from the menu.

iv. Scroll down to the "Description" field of the screen. Enter a URL in the field, including the "www." if you want the link to be clickable. Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
