How To Remove Yourself From a Post You’re Tag In
To untag yourself from a post you’ve been tagged in, do this;
ON BROWSER
1. Log in to your Facebook account
2. Locate the post or photo you’ve been tagged in
3. Click “…” at the top right of the post you were tagged in
4. Select “Remove tag” from the drop-down menu
5. Click to confirm the action if required and you’re done.
ON MOBILE
iPhone
1. Open Facebook by tapping on the Facebook app in your device
2. Go to the post or photo you were tagged in
3. Tap “…” at the top right corner of the post or photo
4. Tap Remove tag
5. Tap OK
ANDROID
1. Open your Facebook app
2. Go to the photo you were tagged in
3. Tap your phone’s menu button. If your phone doesn’t have a menu button, tap on the three-vertical-dotted icon.
4. From the menu that appears, tap Remove Tag.
5. Finally, tap Confirm.
How To Remove Tags From Multiple Posts on Facebook
To remove tags from multiple Facebook posts do the following;
1. Open your Facebook account
2. Click 🔻 at the top right corner of any Facebook page
3. Click Activity Log from the drop-down menu
4. Click Photos in the left column
5. Click to check the box to the left of the posts you’d like to remove a tag from
6. Click Report/Remove Tags at the top of the page
7. Click Untag Photos to confirm

Bear in mind that removed tags will no longer appear on the post or photo, but the post or photo is still visible to the audience it’s shared with.
